Margaret Hinson Head, 72, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 4, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Mrs. Head was born in Haywood County, N.C., March 11, 1943, to the late Berry and Lura Caldwell Hinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed "Pete" Head.
She is survived by one son, Glenn Head and wife, Jeannine, of Dudley; one daughter, Tammy Head Grady and husband, Thomas, of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren, Chase Grady, Daniel Grady and Dawson Head.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
