JAMES S. WIGGINS
June 18, 1941-March 2, 2016
James Sherwood Wiggins, 74, died Wednesday at his residence.
Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Marvin and Mable Pierce, and husband of the late Annie Ruth Jones Wiggins.
He was a retired truck driver.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Moore officiating.
Family members will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Wiggins is survived by his two daughters, JoAnn Lancaster and Tammy Hughes; two sons, James Earl Wiggins and Greg Wiggins; a special friend, Leslie Williams; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
