Atlanta Sprueil, 96, Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Wayne County, died Wednesday at River Garden Hebrew Home for the Aging in Jacksonville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and three sons, John Robert, Jasper and Franklin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Warren officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in St. Delight Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Kenly.

She leaves to cherish her memories son, Levi (Psyche) Coley of Greensboro, N.C.; daughter, Sylvia Diane (Julius) Cuyler of Jacksonville, Fla.; children she reared, Ricardo (Gwen) Ledbetter of Washington, D.C., Lanita Ivery of Goldsboro, N.C., and Antonio (Tammy) Ledbetter of Hookerton, N.C.; two sisters, Rosa Reid of Fremont, N.C., and Vera Sprueil of Greensboro, N.C.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends, at Haskins Funeral Home, 601 E. Ash St., Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends at other times at 902 S. Taylor St., and will assemble at 902 S. Taylor St. in preparation for the funeral procession.
