Betty Jean "B.J." Williams, 56, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Watery Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Statonsburg, with pastor Allen Stanley officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County Nov. 26, 1959, to the late Faison and Sarah Wheeler Williams.
She is survived by a son and a daughter.
Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 tonight at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home.
