Donell Franklin Stancil, 83, Glendale community of Kenly, died Monday.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Centeridge Presbyterian Church, with pastor Clark Vincnet and Dr. De Wayne Eakes. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Born July 3, 1932, he was the son of Alvin Roscoe Stancil and Esther Peedin Stancil. He was married to Alva "Lou."
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be 6 tonight at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times, at his home.
