Mrs. Linda Hall Grant, 73, McLeansville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at New Hanover Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at George Brothers Funeral Service, with the Rev. Patrick Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Linda was born July 8, 1942, in Wayne County to the late Richard Forest and Ethel Dawson Hall.
She was a loving wife and mother, and cherished her three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Hall Jr., James Hall and Robert Hall, and a sister, Doris Hall Basden.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, John "David" Grant of the home; a son, Michael Grant and wife, Lori, of Greensboro; a daughter, Tracy Moore and husband, Jerry, of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Victoria Grant, Tyler Grant and Peyton Moore; a brother, Billy P. Hall and wife, Ann, of Goldsboro; a sister, Lorraine Butts and husband, Danny, of Dudley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
