LOUISE MOODY GRANT

Louise Harvell Moody Gautier Grant, 92, longtime resident of the Dudley area, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Willow Creek Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with visitation to follow. Committal and burial will be Saturday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Friends and family may also call at the residence of Paul and Cindy Moody, 126 Brewington Drive, Dudley.

A native of Sampson County, she was a retired homemaker and farm wife.

She worshipped her Lord and savior at Brogden's Chapel Church.

Preceded in death by three husbands, Jesse Gautier, Jodie Moody Sr. and Leroy Grant; six children, Debbie Gautier, Willard Gautier, Charles "Bo" Gautier, Jesse Gautier, Tony Gautier and Merendy Gautier; and two stepsons, Jodie Moody Jr. and Bennie Moody; she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Cindy Moody of Dudley and Curtis and Wanda Gautier of Benson; a daughter, Dorothy Whaley of Bridgeton; two other daughters-in-law, Faye Gautier of Benson and Wanda Gautier Lewis of Dudley; three stepchildren, M.C. Moody of Sunset Beach, Morris Moody of Fuquay-Varina and Margaret M. May of Hampstead; a brother, George Harvell of Mount Olive; a sister, Kathleen H. Jackson of Erwin; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
