EMMETTE "BUD" WOODROW INGRAM

EMMETTE 'BUD' WOODROW INGRAM

Sept. 16, 1942-Dec. 25, 2015

Emmette Woodrow Ingram passed away Dec. 25, 2015, in Portsmouth, Va.

He was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Wayne County, where he was also raised.

He was lovingly known as "Bud" to his family and friends.

He never met a stranger, and loved to make people laugh. He always had a joke or story to tell.

Although he loved his children, Renee, Jonathon, Amber and Eric Ingram and Michelle Smith, and nieces and nephews very much, his grandchildren and grandnieces and nephews were most precious to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Clara Sanders Ingram, and his sister, Barbara Ingram Yearwood.

The visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 3, at Sharon and Mike Brown's home, 305 Ashworth Drive, Goldsboro, at noon, prior to the graveside service at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley. Bill Garner will preside.
