Beatrice Bryant, 98, 317 Dr. Shaw Road, Slingerlands, N.Y., formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., passed away Dec. 22, 2015.
The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., with Bishop Alton Smith officiating.
A public viewing, which will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., prior to the funeral service.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Wilbert L. Evans Sr. of Dudley, N.C.; two daughters, Nettie Sherard Crossman (Herbert) of Guilderland, N.Y., and Kathy Bryant Lacy (David) of Raleigh, N.C.; one daughter-in-law, Elenora Pitt of Goldsboro; 10 grandchildren, Steve Anthony Evans (Stephanie) of Greensboro, N.C., Darrin Evans (Charletta) of Raleigh, N.C., Terry Evans (Brenda), Trudy Pitt and Carol Pitt Bass (Steve) all of Goldsboro, N.C., Julian "Jay" Pitt of Washington, D.C., Keenah Reid Armitage (Robert) of Irvine, Calif., Joseph Taylor II of San Francisco, Calif., Kimberly Dawson of Raleigh, N.C., Tiffany McNair of Goldsboro, N.C., and Jock Powell (Betty) of Kansas City, Kan.; 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one foster daughter, Mabell Adams (Bill) of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
