Dennis M. Powell, 58, 506 Millers Chapel Road, Goldsboro, N.C. He was born May 27, 1957, died Dec. 7, 2015, of complications from a massive stroke.
He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Zudora Baldwin Powell, and a brother Tyrone Powell.
He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Linda (Peter) Addo and Joy (Vergel) Lattimore; two brothers, Albert (Elizabeth) and Levon; six nieces, Montrose (Anthony) Robinson, Torea (Eric) Chancellor, Coney (Michael) Elam, Angenette Powell, Alia Lattimore and Christine Aku (Ken) Brown; four nephews, Terrell Powell, Kpakpo (Kim) Addo, Vergel Lattimore IV and Adam Lattimore; one aunt, Ethel Baldwin; and cousins, including, Matthews, Baldwin, Newsome, Powell, Greenfields and Jones.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Baldwin Family Cemetery on Powell Road in Goldsboro.
