Marie Deans Kornegay, 83, Selma, died Thursday at home.
Funeral was 6 p.m. Saturday in Temple Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rodney Pearce and the Rev. Thomas Parker officiating.
Born June 22, 1932, in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Stella Pittman Deans. She was married to the late Ralph Kornegay.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
