MELISSA E. TUCKER
Melissa Evans Tucker, 87, of Lucama died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will follow in the Tucker family cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 until 10:45 a.m.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Wayne County on Sept. 3, 1928, to the late Raymond and Ruth Calder Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Tucker.
She is survived by nine sons and three daughters.
The family will receive friends other times at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Curley and Wanda Tucker, 7810 Rouse Road, Lucama.
