ELIZABETH "BETTY" FARAH

Elizabeth "Betty" Farah, 83, died Friday evening at Wilmed Nursing Facility in Wilson.

Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Hollowell and Hazel Hollowell Daniels.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with pastor James Koo and pastor Daniel Mullens officiating.

The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery.

Betty had retired as an accountant with Nash Printing Co.

Betty is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Freda and Kim Davis of Fremont and Kathy and Jim Daniels of Goldsboro; two sisters, Frances Fields of Goldsboro and Molly Howell of Wilmington; three grandchildren; Jeremiah Daniels and wife, Kate, Farah Davis and Abbi Davis and her fiancé, Daniel Mullens; and two great-grandchildren, Grace and James Daniels.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army Kettle Drive, 610 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530. Betty wanted all children to have gifts at Christmas.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Betty's loving caregivers and the staff of Wilmed Nursing Facility.
