Robert Farrell Blalock, 77, Charlotte, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at Carolina Healthcare System in Charlotte.
Robert was born in Montgomery County Sept. 13, 1938, to the late Robert and Jewel F. Blalock.
He had worked for many years as a building contractor in the Charlotte area.
Robert was a generous and gracious man. He will be remembered for the love and laughter that he shared during his well-lived life.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Silas-Pike Cemetery (on Big Daddy's Road), Pikeville.
The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Robert is survived by his wife, Frances Ginn Blalock; son, Lonnie Blalock; and grandson, Isaiah Blalock.
