Viola Everette, 103, 3507 Central Heights Road, passed Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.
The celebration of her life will be held Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Whosoever Will Church Ministries, 1276 N.C. 258 North, Kinston, N.C., with apostle Otis Ray Simmons officiating. She will be laid to rest in Theodore and Annie Branch Family Cemetery in Mount Olive, N.C.
There will be a visitation held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born May 26, 1912, in Turbeville, S.C., to Eli Rose and Mary Byrd Rose.
She is survived by her children.
