Betty Woodard Gurley, 77, 125 Radford Drive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 N.C. 581, Goldsboro. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 12830 U.S. 70 West, Clayton. The Rev. Mike Collier will officiate.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy Price of Goldsboro, Bobby Price of Clayton and Mark Price of Fuquay-Varina; daughter, Susan McConnell of Kinston; brother, James Albert Woodard of Four Oaks; sisters, Billie Mae Woodard Stafford and Nora Lee Woodard both of Princeton, Jean Webb of South Carolina and Linda Watkins of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gurley was a retired health care technician at Dorothy Dix Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leora Peedin Woodard and Albert Allen Woodard; her first husband, Edward Gray Price; second husband, Leon Gurley; a son, Edward Gerald Price; and a sister, Sue Smith. Arrangements are with Evergreen Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
