Thelma Newsome, 77, died Sunday at Brian Health and Rehab Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pentecostal Holy Church. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park North.
She was born May 4, 1938, in Greene County to Frank Speight and Rosa Carr Speight.
She is survived by her children.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m., with the family present 5 to 6, at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
