GARY HOLLINGSWORTH

Gary William Hollingsworth, 65, of 110 Winnifred St., Faison, passed away Saturday afternoon, Aug. 22, 2015.
Gary, born Dec. 3, 1949, was the son of Stephen Lowell and Doris King Hollingsworth.
He was a friend to all, a mentor to many and a loving daddy, granddaddy, husband, brother and son.
His early career was farming, which he loved, but he found his passion in serving as a project superintendent for Mills Construction Co. Over the years, he has built apartments, townhomes and houses throughout the Southeast.
He loved both his travels and coming home. He proudly served his church, Faison Presbyterian, as an elder.
He has now won his battle with cancer and gone home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Samuel Hollingsworth.
Gary is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane Precythe Hollingsworth; daughter, Robin Suzan Williford and husband, Joey; grandchildren, Charles William and Jane Suzanne Williford; and sisters, Joanne Peterson and Sharon Pearsall.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at Faison Presbyterian Church, 502 W Main St., Faison, N.C. 28341.
