ZILLIA MAE "BIG GRANNY" HOLLOMAN FAIL

Zillia Mae Holloman Fail, 97, went to be with her Lord and savior Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral services were held this morning (Monday) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro, with the Rev. Kelley Buffaloe officiating. Burial followed at Hastings Cemetery.
The family received friends prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Mrs. Fail was born Aug. 18, 1917, in Wayne County to the late Ranson and Florence Holloman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Needham Hardy Fail; her son, Eddie Robertson Fail; and three brothers, A.B. Holloman, Ranson Holloman Jr. and Daniel Holloman.
She is survived by one son, Needham Earl Fail and wife, Foy Mae; five grandchildren, Dennis Fail and wife, Julie, Keith Fail and wife, Dee, Rex Fail and wife, Angie, Shari Langley and husband, Sammy, and Phyllis Godwin and husband, Roy; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua Fail and wife, Lauren, Jenna Fail, Jessica Fail, Megan Fail, Brooke Fail, Anna Fail and Eric Langley and wife, Corrie; and one great-great-grandchild, Zoey Langley.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Antioch Presbyterian Church, where she was a member.
The family is the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
