Johnnie R. Williamson, 60, died Tuesday evening at home.
He was born in Wayne County to the late Reginald and Margaret Williamson, and was married to Rose Woods Williamson.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Williamson.
The family will have a time of gathering Friday at 6 p.m. at the home of his brother, Randy Williamson, 689 Sheridan Forest Road, Goldsboro.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Justin Williamson and Warren Williamson; two brothers and sister-in-law, Randy and Iris Jo Williamson and Billy Williamson; three sisters, Betty Gwaltney, Jean Jenkins and Frances Waterman; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's North Carolina Inc., 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, N.C., 27609.
