Sylvester Eugene Chambers, 68, 127 Meriline Ave., West Hartford, Conn., formerly of Wayne County, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.
He was born July 23, 1946, in Wayne County to Robert L. Chambers and Grace Margaret Thornton Chambers. He was married to Wanda Davis Chambers.
The family will receive visitors at the home of his sister, Janice Howell, 309 Nelson Drive, Goldsboro.
