Vara West Hagans, 80, 707 S. Center St., Mount Olive, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Evangelical Fellowship Center, with Dr. Curtis Lee officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park South.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Moses Pearsall and Zelphia West.
Four children survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7. At other times, the family will be at the home.
