Billy Ray McCoy Jr., 45, Grifton, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015.
Born in Lenoir County, he was the son of the late Billy Ray McCoy Sr. and Elsie Inez Brinkley McCoy.
Billy was a farmer at heart, and currently associated with Tull Hill Farms.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea H. McCoy; daughters, Morgan McCoy, Mary Mckenzie McCoy and Moriah Elsie McCoy; son, Billy Ray McCoy III; sister, Sonya McCoy O'Brien and husband, Jim; stepson, Eli Potter; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, with chaplain Allen Ham and Dr. Charles Russell officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
