JEFFERY LEE SUTTON

Jeffery Lee Sutton, 54, Seven Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill surrounded by his family.
Jeffery was born in Lenoir County April 28, 1961, to the late Norman and Mary Rouse Sutton.
He worked as the assistant operations manager of Arnold Wilbert Corp. in Goldsboro for 26 years before retiring because of medical reasons.
Jeffery will be remembered for his love of God, family and friends, especially his dogs, Duke and Hazel.
He always enjoyed the opportunity to barbecue a pig for an outing with family and friends, as well as traveling with his wife to the mountains. Jeffery's love of life will live on in each of us.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 29, 2015, from 6 to 7 p.m. and following the service at Rouse Funeral Home.
A service celebrating Jeffery's life be at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with pastor Larry Smith officiating. Interment will be Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Herman Sutton Family Cemetery.
Jeffery is survived by his wife of 32 years, Loretta Harris Sutton; son, Christopher Lee Sutton and wife, Joy; daughter, Leighann Howell and husband, David; grandson, Wilton Lee Sutton; and brothers, Jimmy Sutton and wife, Marilyn, Phillip Sutton and Vann Sutton.
He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dalton and Carol Harris, and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Connie and Lynn Smith and Gary and Joyce Harris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Faye Hopkins, and brother-in-law, Richard Harris.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Seven Springs United Methodist Church, Seven Springs, N.C.
