Wilbert D. Broadhurst was born Feb. 3, 1932, and departed this life May 24, 2015, at in the comfort of his home at 1910 Elton Drive in Goldsboro, N.C.
He leaves to cherish his life his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Jane "Sweetie" of the home; his daughters, Tersa (Willie) Teachey, Deborah (Frank) Hobbs, Jane Exum and Wilma Graham all of Goldsboro, N.C., Wanda (Frederick) Smith of Maryland and Connie Wilson of Virginia; his sons, Wilbert Broadhurst Jr., Ricky Moore and Jerry (Wanda) Broadhurst all of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a sister, Joyce Broadhurst of Goldsboro, N.C.
Homegoing services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, N.C. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
There will be a visitation held Friday, May 29, 2015, from 1 to 8 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
