Patricia Ann White, 59, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Pat" of 1072-B Old Mount Olive Highway, Dudley, departed her earthly life on Friday, May 1, 2015, at her residence.

Pat was born in Wayne County on July 17, 1955, to the late Lula Mae White and MacRay Herring.

She received her education in the public school system of Wayne County. She attended Southern Wayne High School and graduated in the Class of 1975.

Pat continued her education by enrolling and graduating from King's College and earned her degree in business. Next she attended Wayne Community College where she earned her degree and her certification as a registered nurse.

During Pat's working years, she was employed with Cherry Hospital of Goldsboro for more than 18 years where she served as a registered nurse.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel, at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro. Pastor Thelma Davis will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Carver Memorial Park Cemetery, 634 South Breazeale Ave., Mount Olive.

Also, a public viewing will be held on Monday in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel, at McIntyre Funeral Home from 2 to 6 p.m.

Ms. White leaves to cherish her loving and precious memory her sisters, Gail Leach and husband, Alton of Calypso and Shelia White of Dudley; her brothers, Robert White and wife, Vivian of Philadelphia, Pa., and Ray White of Calypso; her godson, Thomas Booker; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Tuesday family members and friends will assemble at 9:50 a.m. at the residence of Shelia White, 209 Camp Trailee Road, Dudley, in preparation for the funeral procession.

Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C. beginning on Monday, May 11, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
