Charles Edward "Doola" Allen, 61, Smithfield, died at Wilson Medical Center April 27.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at New Generation Christian Church, with bishop Terry Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Crocker Cemetery in Pine Level.
He was married to Carolyn Smith Allen.
He is survived by five children.
Visitation an hour prior to service at the church. The family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
