JAMES ELBERT TURNAGE

June 24, 1965-March 17, 2015

James Elbert Turnage, 49, died Tuesday at UNC-Hospitals.

He was born in Wayne County to Gracie Lee Turnage and the late Delbert James Turnage.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive with the Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Debbie Humphrey and fiancé, Johnny Crews, of Mount Olive and Gloria Ann and John Kloos of Goldsboro; a half-brother and sister-in-law, Dalton James and Ann Turnage of Princeton; nieces, Brandy Michelle Grant, Jessica Renee Antilla, Elizabeth Brooks Turnage and Heather Sue Fernandez; great-niece, Jaylynn Fernandez; and great-nephews, Logan Fernandez and Loken Grant.
