ANNA W. ROSE

Anna Williams Rose, 76, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home.
Anna was born in Lumberton, N.C., April 20, 1938, to the late James and Elizabeth Thompson Williams. She was married to the late D.J. Rose Jr.
Anna was a 1956 graduate of Lumberton High School, where she served as the co-captain of the girls basketball team during her senior year.
Anna lived a life of dedication to her family and friends and to her community.
She served her community many ways from working with the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation to her work with the Wayne County Historical Society.
A private service will be held for the family at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Anna is survived by her sons, Gene Bullard of Lewisville, Texas, Jimmy Bullard of Midlothian, Va., and Keith Bullard of Goldsboro, and her brother, James A. Williams of Vero Beach, Fla..
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
