Roy Maxton "Maxie" Waddell, 56, died Tuesday at Life Care in Rocky Mount.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Lynn Renfrow officiating. Interment will be in Kenly Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County Aug. 25, 1958, to the late Roy Henly Waddell and Edith (Peggy) Vick Waddell.
Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
