Preston Blake Johnson, 79, Kenly died at his home on in Kenly Wednesday.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Kenly Cemetery.
He was a native of Johnston County, and the son of the late Shadrick Johnson and the late Bessie Barbour Johnson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise Deans Johnson, and two sons.
