LAGRANGE -- Pamela Wiggins Rose, 62, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015. Pam was born Oct. 12, 1952 in Lenoir County to the late James Thurman "Scrubby" Wiggins and Dell Suggs Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Dennis Craig Rose, in 2008.
Pam loved the beach, reading, taking care of her yard and her bright outside home lights. She worked as a dispatcher with Lumber Transport and was a member of Garris Chapel United Methodist Church.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brad Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Pam is survived by three daughters, Sonya Moody and husband, Jonathan, of LaGrange, Dawn Rogers and husband, Jackie, of LaGrange, Amanda Waters and husband, Clifton, of Ayden; seven grandchildren, Katlyn Moody, McKenna Moody, Samantha Moody, Drew Rogers, Carson Rogers, Taylin Waters and Anna Jaymes Waters; a brother, Jimmy Wiggins and wife, Maria, of LaGrange.
Pam's family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times they will be at the home of Jackie and Dawn Rogers, 6121 Little Wiggins Road, LaGrange.
