DONALD A. ROBINSON

Donald Allen Robinson, 72, died Monday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Grady and Alma Gaskins Robinson.
A veteran of the United States Army, he served his country in the Vietnam War.
He retired from T.A. Loving after 48 years of service.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Ira Williford officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Ruth Dubois Robinson; his daughter, Angela Herring King of Goldsboro; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Delaine Robinson of Newport; four grandchildren, Jessica Trull and her husband, Jason, Christina King, Dale King and Christopher King; three great-grandchildren, Molly, Dylan and Carson Trull; and several nieces and nephews.
