Mr. Charles Elmond Council Jr., 63, 306 Travis St., Stantonsburg, N.C., passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at Bethel AME Zion Church, 210 Broad Ave., Stantonsburg, N.C. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson.
