Brandon Scott Jones, 44, died Saturday morning at his home.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Gail S. Jones and the late R.B. Jones.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bethel Church in Goldsboro, with the Rev. Steve Holder officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Along with his mother, Brandon is survived by his wife, Jerri F. Jones; three daughters, Brittani Jones, Skyler Jones and Zara Jones; his brother, Michael Jones of Manteo; three sisters, Nicole Jones of Goldsboro, Glynis Sampere of Dover, Del. and Reba Cochran of Mooresville.
