Sanford "Scott" Hascott Ham Jr., 58, Goldsboro, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Scott was born in Wayne County Sept. 9, 1956, to Bettie Dunn Jeannett Ham and the late Sanford Hascott Ham Sr.
He was employed as a mechanic with the Wayne County Public School System.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Powell Ham; sons, Joseph Ernest Ham of Goldsboro and Caleb Joshua Ham and wife, April, of Goldsboro; and grandchildren, Noah Hall, Joseph Ham and Kenzleigh Ham.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Andy "B.J." Ham.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
