Linda Darnell Glaspie, 60, 3511 U.S. 117 South Alternate, died Thursday at her residence.
She was born Feb. 12, 1954, in Wayne County, the daughter of Herman and Ruth Moore Jackson.
Her life and memory will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Precious memories are treasured by her husband, Bobby Glaspie of the home; her sons, Bobby (Tomika) Glaspie of Dudley and Jermaine (Lakeisha) Glaspie of Wilmington; her siblings, Joseph Moore of LaGrange, Rachel McClarin of Goldsboro, Mary Lofton and Sharon Garner of Mount Olive and Sheila Jackson of Lawrenceville, Ga.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
