Carlester Best, 60, resident of Willow Creek Nursing Home, died Thursday in Kindred Healthcare Facility in Greensboro.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Higher Calling Baptist Church in Wilson, with the Rev. John Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Burial Gardens in Wilson
He was born to Marvin Best Sr. and Naomi Newsome Best in Wilson County.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will assemble at 3312 Boyette Drive in Wilson for the funeral procession.
