LUCILLE CARTER PRICE

Died Nov. 18, 2014

Lucille Carter Price departed her earthly body Nov. 18, 2014, surrounded by the love of her family at her daughter Judy's home in Sanford.

She is survived by her three daughters and two son-in-laws, Joan Price Forbes and Harvey S. Forbes, of Sanford; Judy Price Hardison Womack of Sanford; and Debra Price Berg and Steven D. Berg, of Richmond, Va.

She is survived by seven grandchildren, Stewart, Scott and Diane Forbes; Rick Hardison; Mark Womack; and Julia and Deborah Berg; as well as 11 great-grandchildren, Carter, Kirby, Keaton, Hannah, Ally, Mary Grace and Jeremiah Forbes; Price Hardison; Courtney and Kendall Crump; and Brooklyn Womack; and her sister, Betty Carter Blizzard.

Her husband, Harvey R. Price, who was the love of her life; her parents, John and Sarah Carter; her sisters, Myrtle and Effie Kelly; and her brothers, Jack Kelly and Richard Carter, preceded Mrs. Price in death.

She was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed life to the fullest, and this was shown in all aspects of her life.

She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church for 60 years.

She dearly loved her Sunday school class and was a spirited friend to all.

Mrs. Price had a keen sense of style and a unique ability to always find beauty in others.

All who knew her will miss her unrelenting love and devotion to her family and friends.

Heaven will be strengthened by her presence.

The family would like to thank Lynn Blanton, Liberty Hospice Services, Nicole Garrett and First Choice Homecare for the care they provided Mrs. Price in her final days.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Goldsboro, with the service following in the sanctuary of the church at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Stewart Forbes, Rick Hardison, Scott Forbes and Mark Womack; and her great grandsons, Carter Forbes, Keaton Forbes and Price Hardison.

Donations in Lucille's memory may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1605 East Pine St., Goldsboro, N.C.
