Phebia Helen George, 94, 117 Peachtree Lane, Warsaw, died Monday at home.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter United Holy Church, with elder Woodrow Grandy Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery, Faison.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Anna Boykins Thompson and Preston Hayes, and wife of the late Samspon George.
Four children survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
