DONALD "DON" CARDINALE

Donald "Don" Anthony Cardinale, 82, Mount Olive, died Friday at Genesis Health Care.
He was the son of the late Dominic and Ann Ponttcelli Cardinale, and husband of Debbie Lewis Cardinale.
He was retired from the United States Air Force, and was the owner of Cardinale Pilot Car service.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at Brogden United Methodist Church at 3 p.m., with Dr. Mike Coppock officiating.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, whom he called his own, Christie Bryan Jones and husband, Gregg, of Winterville; a stepson, Lt. Col. Edward Lee Bryan Jr. and wife, Trisha, of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Rita Godfrey of Connecticut and Diane Lacava of Indiana; and two stepgrandchildren, who were both the apple of his eye, Daniel Bryan Jones and Nicholas Bernard Jones both of Winterville.
He is also survived by a son, Michael, and daughter, Pam both of Denver, Colo.
