Rebecca Ann Farr, 59, Hudson, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at Catawba Regional Hospice.
Born Sept. 8, 1955, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Jesse Jenkins.
She was a member of Longview Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vance Jenkins.
Mrs. Farr is survived by her daughter, Megan Reeder and husband, Jim, of LaGrange, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Audrey Duncan of Hudson, N.C.; an aunt, Edith Branscomb and husband, Buck, of Princeton, W. Va.; loving friend, Sylvia Hartman of Hickory, N.C.; and her dog, Rhett Butler of the home.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at Longview Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Reese officiating.
