Jill Menane Sherrod, 58, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at Wake Medical Center.
Jill was born in Spokane, Wash., July 20, 1956, to the late Reynold Irving and Geraldine McKenney Menane.
She was married to the late Howard Sherrod, who preceded her in death in 2013.
Jill will be remembered as a great friend to many and a wonderful sister.
The family will gather for a service of remembrance at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Seymour Funeral Home, with pastor Andy Stovall officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Jill is survived by her sisters, Wendy Jarchow of Spokane, Wash., and Brenda Abbotts of Matthews; brothers, Kim I. Menane of Spokane, Wash., Ricky L. Menane of Spokane, Wash., and Kerry E. Menane of Spencer, N.C.
