Robert Bruce "Bob" Shepard Jr., 66, Liddell community of Seven Springs, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Futrelle officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 29, 1947, in Lenoir County to Agnes Carlyle Shepard of Kinston and the late Robert Bruce "R.B." Shepard. He was married to Barbara Hines Shepard.
He is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
