Rudy Marshall Caviness Jr., 64, Raleigh, died Monday at the VA Hospital in Durham.
A private service was held Friday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
He was born in Guilford County March 22, 1950, to the late Annie Lee Fulton Caviness and Rudy Marshall Caviness Sr.
Arrangements were by Evergreen Funeral Home.
