WOODROW OUTLAW

July 28, 1921-July 21, 2014

Woodrow Outlaw, 92, longtime resident of Kenansville, passed away Monday, July 21, at Quinn Hospice Center.

Service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 3 p.m. at Kenansville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens at Warsaw.

Visitation will be at the church during the hour before the service.

Mr. Outlaw, son of the late Arthur and Martha Harrell Outlaw, was a retired supervisor with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Duplin County office.

He was a member of Kenansville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Heath Outlaw of the home; a daughter-in-law, Sue Biggs Outlaw of Tarboro; two grandchildren, Paul Outlaw and Dawn Whitehurst; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Outlaw; his brothers, Roy and Henry Outlaw; and four sisters, Pauline O. Goodman, Katherine O. Goodson, Ila Mae O. Davis and Esteen O. Quinn.

Memorials may be made to Kenansville Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society
