He was born April 16,1985, to Clarence Newkirk and Annette Whitfield in Wayne County. He is survived by one child.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of the Haskins Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
