John William "Jack" Ivey III, 75, Faison, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 25, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Ivey was born May 18, 1939, in Wayne County to John William Ivey Jr. and Mary Gertrude Anderson Ivey.
Mr. Ivey is survived by brother, Alexander J. Ivey and wife, Maria, of Bosque Farms, N.M.; sisters, Ruby I. Gonzales of Albuquerque, N.M., Linda Griffin of Potters Hill, N.C., Ann I. Hart and husband, Gary, of Mount Olive, N.C., and Celes I. Jones and husband, Charles, of Faison, N.C.; and his beloved cat, Bud.
A visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw Inc.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, in Seven Springs Methodist Church Cemetery.
