Willam Earl Capps, Sr., 64, of 1309 Clingman St., peacefully passed from this life Saturday in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Aug. 17, 1949, to Patton and Minnie Bailey Capps in Johnston County.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Harvest Christian Fellowship, 305 Spring St., Lucama. The Rev. Daniel Taylor will officiate.
He is survived by his loving children Lucy Pope of Dudley, Teresa Ward of Rosewood, Peggy Craft, Craig Rashaw of Pikeville, Teddy Young of Kinston and William Capps Jr. of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Haskins Funeral Home, Goldsboro, is in charge of arrangements.
