TERESA MCKINNEY WORRELLS

Teresa McKinney Worrells, 43, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Pete," of 1907 North John Court, Apartment B, Goldsboro, and with her family by her side, gently passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, at her residence.

Teresa was born in Brooklyn County, Brooklyn, N.Y. on Nov. 9, 1970 to the late Dennis Map and Shirley McKinney.

She received her education in the public school system of Lenoir County. She attended and graduated from North Lenoir High School in LaGrange.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 1 p.m. from the Greater Saint John Free Will Baptist Church, 613 Mitchell Road, Dudley. Dr. William A. Mitchell Jr. will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery-North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro.

Also, a public viewing will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014, in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel, 900 S. George Street, Goldsboro, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Ms. Worrells leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories, her daughter, Doresha Best; her son, Delfawn Worrells; three sisters, Sonya Gross, Tara McKinney and Wanda McKinney; her brother, Ricky McKinney; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

At other times, the family will receive friends and other family members at the residence of Ms. Teresa Worrells, 1907 North John Court, Apartment B, Goldsboro. On Tuesday, the family and friends will assemble one hour prior, at 11:50 a.m., at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.

Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George Street, Goldsboro, beginning on Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
